Social Proof

Last week I went out with a group of friends off my course. A girl I know from the area (that fancies me but I dont feel the same - this is another story...) asked me if I was going out tonight. We both happened to be going to the same club, so about an hour into the night she spotted me and grabbed me hah. She was with a group with 5 girl friends so I literally went round the group and said "hi what's your name" to each of them shaking their hand and giving them a peck on the cheek.. (they were all smiling, but I don't know if this was the right thing way of opening?)
Anyway I was engaging the whole group, but didn't really feel attracted to them. I think the hottest one was about a 7' but didn't really feel any attraction there. Then I got approached whilst in this set by a 2-set... One of these was a HB8. So at this point in time, my group from my course is just standing their watching as I'm stood with 8 girls, I felt like the man!

[/b]Here's the problem

I found it pretty much impossible to build any attraction with the HB8 because of the size of the group as well as the fact that (the girl I know fancies me is watching). I only ended up getting a picture with the HB8 from the 2-set and her friend. What could I have done differently to build attraction?

You need to separate her from the heard man. Should have asked her to dance or go for a smoke with you if she/you smoke.
