Yo, I didn't even get a number close last night. (Well, I kinda did, but it was with a dude, and that was because he was like, pushing it and I wanted him to leave me alone.)
Anyway, we learned something. We got to the club, I was letting my wing (Who's way new to this) open sets, because he needs to learn. We went and tried to dance with different targets for like, an hour and a half while on the dance floor, got shot down every time except twice. (Hesitation was a bitch. I gotta take him on the newbie rejection mission again) Doesn't matter, because he learned. We went out on the patio area, and started building ridiculous amounts of social proof. We started talking to all the dudes like we were their best friends, negged all the chicks, and we got opened 5 times within 10 minutes by targets. Once we got back in there, we were grinding on chicks in about 30 seconds, and had we built social proof straight from the get-go, I'm confident in saying my wing and I would've both gotten laid.
I've been at this for a little over a year, so I already knew basically everything I mentioned in this, except for realizing how epically the social proof will save you from being beta on the dance floor. (Once again, hesitation's a bitch. 3 second rule.) But for the n00bs, remember, social proof is the way to do it.

I don't know man - in my personal experience I've found social proof to be way overrated, especially in the club scene.

To each their own. It works really well for me, though, and I've seen it work for others.
