I started reading 'the game' last week and i've already come along way:
-making random conversation with strangers
-speaking directly and confidently
-better eye contact
It's really boosted my confidence and motivatd me to keep it up!
So tonight was my first reall opportunity to get out the house and try out some techniques. I went up the local pub. This probably wasn't the best idea as I will explain a little later.
I made a great entrance - confident, really drew attention my way, got the swagger on, head high.
A few guys I know spotted me so I chatted with them (nice bit of social proof
)
When the convo started running dry I got myself a drink and found a table where I could chill out and get comfy with the surroundings and SPAM.
I got alot of interest from the ladies in the form of eye contact, and I held their gaze coolly (most seemed happily surprised I was interested in them and even broke eye contact downwards which I took as a sign they were shy - obv giving me the upper hand in a way. What do you think?)
I left it a little too long chilling on my own as the place emptied a bit (most of the girls were off down town I guess)
I opened on a HB6 who was with a guy (BF/GF) I got a good response and a few IOIs' but didnt persue it.
I then opened on what I though was a HB5 but up close was really a HB4. She was giving me alot of IOI. I was cocky funny and my conversation starter I made up went down really well. I wasn't that into her though so I wanted to eject but I did it really awkwardly and clumsily. My answers to her q's got less cocky/funny and more cocky/not funny.
Her: If you're gonna give me stupid answers then don't bother
Me: I feel like i'm being interreogated
Her: *laughs* ok lets talk about the weather then (sarcastic)
Me: ok, what's it like now? shall we go check it out *I walk out without looking back or waiting (isolation but not caring whether she followed - she didnt)
Outside in the smoking area I edged into a group convo 5 girls 1 guy. The guy left when I started cracking jokes using him as butt.
Again using cocky funny, trageting the HB6.5 of the group. I def got at least 1 IOI but was a lil lost as how best to procede. Therefore, with all the approaches and emotions buzzing through me I decided to leave.
What I have taken from tonights adventure:
- bottle to approach and make convo on the fly
- openers are great convo starters (the one i used tonight got two great reactions)
- able to relax in a charged social situation although I do get flaky whilst in conversation (im sure practice will eliminate this)
- need to work on routine
- alot of work to be done on calibration
- goes with routine but i need to try put myself in a position to unleashe kino!
- not nice being just cocky, feel like a bit of a prick. Need to be more careful who I approach. It's a bit harsh gettin a girls hopes up. plus i dont want a negative reputation in my local boozer!
- need to build my confidence and self esteem so I can dive into groups of 8-9s' and take the lead
- work on nailing the 3s rule
So not a bad night really, ticked a few boxes and feeling preety damn good
Gonna start working on the day game.
Anyone got any advice on general routine stuff and how to lead the convo towards the f-close?
