Hey guys this is my first post here so I hope I put this in the right place.

Anyway I thought I would put this experience up for review since so far I don't know what to make of it. I would wanna know if I did anything wrong or what I should've done different here.

I saw a nice looking girl at a bus stop while waiting to get to a friend's house, she was easily an 8. As we got on the bus I opened with "Excuse me do you know if this goes to ______" to which she replied "Oh sorry I don't know I'm not from around here, maybe the bus driver knows." She said it in what seemed like a genuine and friendly way so after asking the bus driver I proceeded to sit next to her. She picked up the conversation by asking where I was off to today. I told her I was going to a friend's house then a party and asked her about her plans. As the conversation continued I just found out more about the girl,asked her where she's from, her music interests, job, etc. She is also 24 while I'm 18, which I find attractive.

In the conversation she said she needed to get to a particular street and wasn't sure how to, I pointed her to a nearby bus line that could get her there and when she said she'd get off this one and walk because she had no bus fare I helped her out with that and a few stops later got her number, she said to just text her and she'll have mine. So after making a joke about where the bus drivers taking me and how my stop was two stops that way (pointing back) I got off and quickly texted her my number "Hey there this is my number" she replied with "Cool."

Fast-forward 3 days and I text her up and this is what the convo was word for word:

Me: Hey whats up?
Her: Hey who is this?
Me: Its Stas we met on the bus the other day.
Her: Lol hi
I'm sorry I'm bad with names
Me: Its all good xD was wonderin if ya wanna grab a coffee of something tomorrow
Her: Yeah that would be nice
I have to go to the DMV
But maybe after that
Me: Do you have a time in mind? I have class but if its after 12:45 it works.
Her: My DMV appointment is after one.
Me: Alright meet around 3 then? Near hollywood?
Her: Ok

The next day as I'm on the bus, on the way to our meeting place I text her.

Me: Hey I'm heading out now, meet ya by the red line station?

-This goes unanswered for a while, until I arrive at the spot. The reply was unfortunate.

Her: I can't make it
I am out of town
Me: Ah that sucks I just got here.
Her: I'm sorry
Me: Eh whatever haha reschedule friday? Or are you still gonna be out?
Her: Ok

And that is where we left off. So I'm wondering, why she would agree to go out when she is gonna be out of town the next day? Is this a test? Does it look like its going downhill or is it too soon to tell? Input appreciated
