When i got her phone number we made plans to meet up three days later at my place. The day of, today, she came over, but wouldn't get out of her truck. She drove me to my suggested destination, eegees (a casual food joint, popular in town). I already had my wallet out as it was our turn to pay and proceeded to take out the credit card. She immediately, all at one fall swoop, gave her card to the cashier and snagged my card. Playfully tried to get it back, but she just wouldn't give... I felt pretty comfortable around her the entire time, got a bunch of IOI's (positive body language, playing with hair, and caught some glances in my peripherals), but she decided to dip out quick after we returned to my place...

My question is, what does it mean if she refuses to let you pay? Is this a sign of affection or friendship? How should i procede?

I'm not sure if it's normal to get around 2-3, 10-20, or even 50-100 in a 2 hour time period (im not that experienced), but I can recount 9 IOIs that stuck out. For arguments sake, say she was into me. Why would she "not want to send the wrong message," or "look out for herself?"

Well the thing is,when you checc out the female psyche,you'd come up with the answer:she doesn't want to appear to be too easy nor bought.

She is into you:thus the massive IOI's.

But she will not just proverbially hop into bed with you.

That would make her seem slutty and easy:thus she wouldn't be a challenge.

She paying for her own stuff is saying to you,"IM totally into you(from the IOI's),but the game isn't over yet.Im not that easy,so Im gonna pay for my own shit".
