Monday night.
Monique couldn't come over on Sunday cause she wanted to clean up her house and get more organized and be less depressed. She said she'd come over on Monday and that she worked until 7pm.
I still live at my dad's and rely on him for rides places. She was a bit concerned about what he might think picking her up at a strip club. I don't remember her exact words but I reassured her and said my dad thought she was a very sweet girl and said she was a keeper cause she loves movies. This was very intentional what I said.
She responded with something along the lines of "Awww..

" I don't remember exactly but that's close enough. We got to the club around 8:20... she said she'd be ready to go at about 8 and my dad isn't the most efficient when it comes to getting ready and getting out the door, but that's another story [generally I plan ahead to get him to be ready on time... just didn't have enough notice to plan ahead this time].
When we get there some Valley comes up to the car to tell us it's Valley parking only and my dad says something really obnoxious... I don't exactly remember. I just remember thinking . o O (he didn't just say that did he... fuck it, whatever). I don't believe he knew he was being rude but eventually Monique comes out and we drive over to pick her up. Then my dad recounts the story to her... fucking... I change subject but he does that obnoxious thing where he just keeps raising his voice to drown out whoever else is talking [I find it rather childish..].
He's talking about strip clubs and his experiences at them and doesn't seem to be catching onto the vibe that Monique not only doesn't want to talk about it be feels embarrassed working there... subtle hints like she mentions that's not her full time job and it's only part time. She strongly suggests that she's not there very often. She's implying she doesn't like that job, etc.. He's not really catching on [and I'm thinking yet again . o O ( No wonder I have limited social skills and have to go about learning them... there was no one in my life when i was growing up that had them... ). ].
I randomly ask him what movie he went to see today. He tries to drown me out and she mentions she's heard he's a movie buff like her and wants to know what he saw today and the subject changes and now we're all talking about movies. I have less to add to the conversation, just questions and my thoughts on what they're talking about really. Then we make it to the Liquore store and she wants to get beer. Fine by me.
And right now I need to get ready for school, so I'll finish writing this later.
