I'm still a recovering AFC but I find this method works great for me, and it might for you. The problem many of us have is lack of confidence, fear of approach or interaction or negative feelings about ourselves. The trick I find, is to ALWAYS be in contact with your feelings; the often subconscious ones too which can tear you apart.

If you ever feel uncomfortable, shy, awkward, depressed, negative or anything that you don't want to be- CHANGE IT! You have the power. Simply identify the feeling- whether it be lack of confidence or self-esteem, fear of rejection, fear of hamburgers, fear of alpha males or whatever. Next, ask yourself why you are feeling this way. 99% of the time it's a stupid belief that you have; something that is not true. From here, once you have recognized the feeling and the reason for it, it is extremely easy to change that feeling.

For instance:

This weekend I was in a group where I didn't know many people and was uncomfortable to approach this guy and two HB8.5. I thought to myself, why won't I approach them? The answer was, I was feeling nervous and uncomfortable. Why am I feeling this way? What does it matter what they think, life is too short to let opportunities slip away. I then realized that my feeling was just an AFC reaction and a false one at that. From there, it was pretty easy to reframe my belief about the situation and go full throttle. I hope this makes sense and can help some people.

Very well put, I think alot can be said for taking a positive outlook on life.

I was listening to Pickuppodcast with AJ and Jordan, and i think something they said has some relevance on this subject.

They where talking about if you only think of positive outcomes it will build your inner game tremendously, and a way of doing that is as follows.

To only look at life in two ways.

You either succeed or you learn.

Definetly something to think about.
