Im hoping someone (a wiser poster) has good ideas on how to set goals properly

I always try and set them and i do have End goals - concrete and esoteric - but i find it hard putting them into shorter term goals and then weekly and daily set tasks to achieve them.

More specifically I have trouble organising it so i can look at them and see that i am on track etc

Any ideas, links or templates? Also I find im bad at setting deadlines for this as generally i dont know how much time will be needed or WHAT will be needed to overcome said goal/SP

Please help :)

Being organized is very important. In fact it's an attractive trait of an Alpha Male. Most people start making goals and never achieve them simply because they did not organize their goals correctly. The number one reason for failing in your goals is discipline, being lazy is also part of that. To get out of this you have to think about something you're not going to like and that is the what consequences of being undisciplined will have do to you. The answer is very simple, it will make you fall behind all others, it will make you a loser, you won't be happy with your life and you will get nowhere. Sounds pretty harsh doesn't it. But there is a reward side to it to. If you do train yourself to be disciplined you will be a winner, you will be ahead of all others, you'll be happy, you'll accomplish your goals and achieve what you want to. This is the truth and there's no other way to be successful except this. Now, if you're ready the next step will be to discipline yourself. Start will small things. For example: Make yourself a workout schedule. Make sure you don't skip even one workout at any cost. Don't start with hard things like doing workout every day. Start by setting small goals. Try as much as possible not to push things off till later. The second you remember something you have to do go for it and do it. Don't let your mind take over and think at these moments. Do this and after I'll try to help you out with the rest. Good luck!
