Should a PUA be cold hearted? If so how much? and why? I am interested in others opinions on this as I think it is probably good as means to avoid emotional damage with a good amount of psychological distance surely?

I think you don't have to be cold hearted as much as just being able to control and deal with your emotions. Emotions are good, but a lot of people act on them and can't process them properly.

I would say almost cold hearted to yourself, but not towards others. And only to yourself in terms of not letting emotion cloud your judgement/frame.
