I am the dude with the grey shirt and silver necklace.

Note: I have been complimented MANY times before on clothes when I was in brasil. Nike, All-star, Adidas. And I have been good with the women(Don't mean to brag). But ever since I came back to the USA(I'm a typical american 'nerdy-esque loser') I have been told to change my clothes. What was cool in Brasil is not cool in the USA and the women are different(Brasil the women are not as easy, but they are more friendly and gaming them can be entertaining.)

Long story short, I need more swagger, more game. I realize inner game is good for you and all, but I can't forget that clothes need to reflect me. And I have NO clue. Any tips guys? Thanks!

What needs improvement?

Don't wear Ed Hardy and you'll be fine.
Just go for plain colored vnecks (dark colours for you), some straight leg/or skinny jeans (if you have the body shape), get one piece of jewelery you never take off, and a couple to alternate between.

Your style is realllly generic. It doesn't really look good. Problem one, your pants. You need a good pair of pants. True religions or even levi, your pants look awful. Don't wear shirts you would work out in, it looks like your going to the gym to play basketball. Go to ross and find some cheap good looking shirts.

Your hair looks better grown out than it does cropped close, but you could do with a little facial hair to balance out the babyface aspect.

Your jeans in the full-body picture are several sizes too big. I'm not an advocate of skinny jeans by any means, but a well-fitting pair would serve you much better.

In a similar vein, you could really benefit from hitting the gym a little to broaden your shoulders and slim your waist. This would drastically improve the way you look in the 't-shirt and jeans' theme you've got going. However ...

Why just wear t-shirts and jeans? They are certainly appropriate on some occasions but there is a whole other world of sartorial options out there and I think you would benefit from looking into them. A light-colored dress shirt with a navy blazer and some dark jeans would work well with your skin tone and still be casual enough to be comfortable in most environments, for example.

Your boy,

Thanks guys. I am definetly going out to purchase some new clothes. As for the broad shoulders, I can say that I am working hard on that. I am in my fourth week in P90X and by July I will have a ripped body that will help improve my game and confidence. But at the moment I am in desperate need of new styles that might match my own persona. I will definetly search for those. I do own blazers and suits, but I use them for special occasions only. Should I wear them during the day? Wouldn't it be out of place?

Depends where you spend your days. If you're a personal trainer at a gym, such accouterments would probably be overkill; if you work in an office, not so much.

The rule I follow is to dress one level above how everyone else will be dressed wherever I'm going. For example: if the majority of a crowd is wearing t-shirts, I will show up in a polo. If they're in polos, I'll wear a collared dress shirt. If they're all in collared dress shirts, I'll wear a blazer and jeans. If they're in blazers with jeans, I'll wear a suit. If they're wearing suits, I'll wear a better-tailored suit.

The point here is not to look better than the people around you - that's a side-effect. The point is to convey respect for whoever it is you're hanging out with, and that's communicated by how well you prepare yourself for the event in question.

Your boy,

Hey man, take arishorts and ConfusedSuds' advice! Women will DEFINATELY have nothing to do with you if you don't show any confidence in what you're wearing....at the SAME time, ConfusedSuds put it best. I'm a little darker than you, being from Trinidad, but the darker colored V-Necks with either skinny or slim fit jeans and the right pair of sneakers is the hot shit right now. I have two closets organized for what or where I'm going...I do most of my shopping at Old Navy...cheap ass shit and when you make your outfits right the clothes look GOOD...their slim fit jeans are AMAZING too...obviously you wanna have some designer pieces too...try this out for size....Darker colored v-neck, like a charcoal, light wash slim fits, a pair of classic black/white chuck taylors and a nice summer jacket or leather jacket. See how many women stare at you rockin that swag!!

I agrre Ed Hardey is over played(affliction too). but you have to realize why they were popular. Colors make you stand out, designs draw people into then. They are too much but try to find a toned down style of it.

But dont go for grey and black shirts, and not plain ones.

If I was you I would grab a purple or red T- shirt with a design on it. The group photo I seen your friend with the red shirt stood out so much compared to you the red pops.

yeah get a nice pair of jeans too. Just make sure they fit.

If youre looking for different or new clothes try going to the karmaloop website. The library of clothes is ridiculous, but its mostly for urban style clothing.
