Hi, I am pretty new to the game but I know some intermediate NLP and use that to get laid most of the time :) . Well anyways, I'm interested in picking up classier women and I fear that my style of dress may be repelling them. My look is a that of a snowboarder with hip hop influences (long white tees [either blank white or branded black], baggy jeans and skate shoes). The thing is that, even though I snowboard and ride dirtbikes/motorcycles and shit, I am a bit on the pudgy size and am hesitant to go the "fitted" route. Any advice on this would much appreciated :D

HEY DUDE!

Your clothing belongs somewhere in the 90's.

My advice is so simple. You obviously have internet connection, so use it! Start by researching about fashion and clothing. Their are so many articles and sites to help you. Sites such as Askmen, fasionbeans etc

Then search for lots of different clothing websites. Bookmark them all. Then spend plenty of time searching through these sites until you can pick out your favourite sites. You will notice that these sites stock similar clothing and you will realise that their really isn't that much to buying clothes.

And as you search for fashion advice, you will see the phrases 'fitted' over and over. Don't ignore it. Fitted does not mean skin tight. Think of it as the bagginess of your clothes being removed.

Hey thanks for the tip man! After looking on those sites, I was thinking of going for a more casual look. Maybe dark slim fit dickies and a colorful(like a dark red or something) button down? What do you think?

Pick up a GQ magazine. Flip through it. Go to Nordstroms, Banana Republic, Guess, Express, you get the idea. Remember slim fit/modern fit is ur friend. Dont have the money? Go to nordstrom rack/Outlet stores. Buy 3-5 pants and combine that with whatever shirts. Get some dress shoes again Nordstrom/Aldo. Want a tie? get a skinny tie. Ebay that shit. $3 from china but is cheap and looks good

The first thing to do is define what your particular style is. The pua Style says that every guy falls into one of ten categories: gangster, jock, preppy, skater, goth, etc. You need to first identify what category and style suits your body type AND personality the best. Trust me, I struggled for years trying to do that. Thought I was preppy in highschool, then a skater, then GQ....until now when I finally realized the best look for me is someting I have coined "douchebag casual".

I don't know what you look like or who you are, so I can't tell you what look to go for. But I will give you some words of caution/advice. Make sure that whatever style you choose suits you. Make sure it fits your body type and is in line with your age bracket. Nobody wants to see some middle aged guy rocking the retro 80s look. Also, get women to help you define your style and tell you what clothes look good on you.
