Talking about suits I can do :)

The time/place is massive in deciding if you wear a suit or not. For example in London you can't be in a any kind of central bar in anything but a suit (and a dam nice one at that as women do notice). Then again in the trendier clubs and bars you definitely cant wear a suit as your branded a corporate zombie and lynched then and there.

The Confidence of looking like a boss when wearing a suit that fits well is massive and personally I get compliments on my suit from women a lot more than my regular clothes even if it's just from my friends in the pub after work.

The easiest way is to find a place and wear normal clothes. Go back the next day in a suit and tally up the compliments (even if you have to force the convo into talking about how your dressed). Simples.

I appreciate that the UK does tend to lean towards more formal wear than our cousins across the pond though however.
