Hey guys, was wondering if anybody had any ideas on the best way to build a new social circle? tThis isn't about picking up girls from my social circle by the way, it's just about making friends. I've spent all this time on learning how to get laid, and now that isn't a problem anymore, yet I struggle at making friends. So could anybody give me any tips? Anybody know any websites with useful information on this kind of thing? Or maybe even good sites to meet new people? I've heard of meetup.com but there aren't many people on there near me.

Quickest way to start building a new social circle is using your current one, befriend your friends-friends on facebook or whatever other social networking site you use or alternatively get a new job. You get to keep your current set of friends and build a new set which works a treat when you’ve got a night out, get a couple of your mates to tag along and it gives you instant social status with your work/new set of mates, shows you've got that likeability vibe that you've got a lot of friends, best bring a select few mates to tag along on nights out and bring different mates every night out so it shows you've got a strong social network. So in jest even if you’re sick of your current social circle use them too your advantage.

Hey man one of my sticking points was going right into comfort after the opener and some real quick attraction ( Mystery Method ), and i noticed the only thing i was getting was more friends that were good looking girls. If you take that route then you will have some new friends that will want to come hang with you and they will have guy friends that will want to come along too. Bring them all because you then lead your group and since you said you can already pickup girls you offer the new guys something that you both can get along on. Good luck !

Thanks for the replies guys yeah I'm still not that great socially, never have been. My pick up style is all about being direct, building sexual tension and escalating. I hate approaching and I'm not one of those guys that goes around talking to everybody building social proof or is really loud and high energy. I'm naturally an introvert. I think that's why I struggle at this. My friends live quite a way away now and I'm always skint, so hardly ever see them anymore (last time I saw them was a couple of months ago). When I do see them I feel like I don't really fit in anymore.

Will definately try to use POF, and will maybe try just approaching girls and befriending them if I can.

Which chapters in MM deal with building comfort? Is attraction reccomended for girls you want to become friends with and which chapters deal with attraction also? I could do with adding some attractive female friends to my social group.
