So this girl I want to re-establish contact with I got her number several weeks back and due to both of us being busy all the time we were never able to meet up.

It's been a little over a month now since our last contact. What is a good Text Message opener I can use on her to peak her interest again?

I thought about, "Hey Tina, just wanted to check in with you and see if you've won the lottery or done something cool since the last time I saw you :)"

Suggestions? Text message ideas? Maybe something more direct?

What if nothing interesting has happened though? And looking for interesting things implies that nothing great is going on in your life.

Try:
You: "Tina! I met your twin last night!"
Her: "Oh cool" (or whatever)
You: "Yeah you've been MIA lately so I thought you died and were haunting me. She was a sweetheart though!"
