Mid Game in general is about building comfort and a connection with a girl. I hate the back and forth question and answer thing so what I do is create a role-play. Put them in any kind of role and play it out. This actually gives you something to talk about and a connection you guys can refer to later. For example I like saying "You are actually really fun you brat, you're my 1 hour girlfriend." and then play it out. It doesn't matter WHAT the role is, but the existence of one counts.
Also, making future plans together works well too and busting her balls while you make em

In mid-game don't bother using any routines... You need to completely be yourself. Just find shit out about her, get her talking a lot, then reveal some things about yourself. I think it's always best to keep the conversation focused on her, and get her doing most of the talking, then just give feedback every now and again.

Gamblers stuff is the best for building rapport and connection in mid-game. Check out this podcast:
