So last Saturday I kissed this girl at the club and took her number at the end of the night. I'm feeling like I prolly should text her today but am running out of ideas. Help me out guys! I'm just looking for some fun ways to iniate convo through texting, I think I'll manage after that and arrange a meeting some time this week.

So, if anyone has any fun and playful ways to iniate convo through texting then please share! All I can say about the convo at the club was that she was like "we're not gonna see after tonight are we?" to which I just answered that "I'll call/text ya on Monday or something"...

Text game doesn't have to be super complicated or involved. Your basic strategy is

(0. Optional - send a funny text on your way home)

1. Send a random or funny text a few days later, one that doesn't ask for a response or anything, just to pique her curiosity. e.g. "I just met your twin!" "the most random thing happened" or some tease or joke that relates to something you guys were talking about.

2. When she gets back to you, wait at least 2x as long as she took to reply, and reply to her with a little joke or tease, and then your day 2 invite. Good if you have a specific, fun, interesting day 2 idea, not just "hey lets get a drink sometime"

3. If she doesn't reply to your initial message, just wait a day and try again. After 2/3 messages with no reply, forget about her but DON'T delete her number. She may actually be busy or feel bad for getting your number because she's got a jealous boyfriend, but I've had plenty of girls I completely forgot about text me MONTHS later out of the blue and we've gotten back in touch.

(4. Things to try to remember to do on the night you meet to help prevent flaking: (i) give her a nickname and call her it when u text her, (ii) future project - it can be as easy and throwaway as "oh you haven't been there? Well we totally have to go sometime" it's low pressure, but it makes her imagine you two together in the future, and gives you material to use for your actual invite later on)
