Does an alpha man go around asking people what they think of him in the hopes they'll say he's great? No, he ALREADY KNOWS he's the shit, completely regardless of what anybody else says or does.
Rather than looking for material for every single possible contingency, it's a lot more efficient to have the right mental state and then the right thing to say will naturally flow from you rather than you having to remember tons of "lines."
What would I have done? The same thing I always do when a girl gives me a negative reaction. Just keep sarging and forget it happened. There are always going to be times when a joke doesn't hit, or you say her name wrong, or she brings up that her dad just died, and you cannot dwell on it or think up some fucking retarded cocky&funny thing to say. Just change the subject and move on. Simple.
