Anyway, I invited her out to a party that day after the number close and this is what i said

"Hey - this is [Myname], get cute and come over to the [placeofevent] =P . Bring your friend too - and tell him to get his gameface on!"

And she responded with:

"Hey sorry but im staying in [location] tonight "

Its been one day now - and I just thought of the perfect response for it - something along the lines of "Oh are you hinting for me to go over?? We just met you know!" but I think its too late for that now.
