I live in a pretty boring suburb, and when I'm working the online game, most of the girls I meet are a as far as 30 miles away, sometimes out in the country a good ways, or at least in areas that I'm not familiar that don't offer much to do. I run into this a lot around here, where basically I have to ask the girl to drive 30+ minutes to me in order for us to have anything to do and for me to work my game with a few local hotspots that usually deliver. (On the plus side, it's fairly easy once they're out here to get them back to my place.)

I guess now that I've talked it out here, I don't really have much of a problem. I just don't like asking them to drive -- putting them out like that right off the bat starts things on an off-note since the more chivalrous thing to do is to drive to meet them. I've had a few girls in the past that I know were a little annoyed by the time they got into my area, which starts me off in a compromised position. But if I go to them, I'm walking into a blind situation where I don't know any good places to go and the odds of getting invited to her place are slimmer.

A girl is always comfortable at their own place. Of course, find some places of interest by her place- never invite yourself over until you get signficant IOI's. Or better yet, wait for her to give the invitation and pull back/leave if she doesn't. Just don't get too drunk as you'll be stranded in some weird town. Haha

I'm having the exact same issue... I've been meeting a bunch of girls online where the drive is about 40 minutes.

I've been able to get numbers fairly easily but I'm not sure how to transition into the first meet up. Either I have to ask them to drive 40 minutes to come see me or I have to suggest a location in her area I'm not familiar with.
