I just started going to a new LA Fitness and there's a (HB 8.5) working the front counter. As I was checking in yesterday I introduced myself and commited her name to memory.

Today I walked in and said what's up Brittany? I started handing her my card and snatched it back at the last second. "Aaaannnt, what's my name?" She giggled and said "ugh, I can't remember. Do you know how many people ask me that?" I said "you should be ashamed of yourself" and she said "I am". I told her my name and said "dont' forget it again". She said "I won't, I promise". She talks to 100 guys everyday and this seemed like a good way to lock my name in her head. Thoughts?

On my way out I pointed at her, slapped the counter lightly and said "ok Britanny, tomorrow is judgement day" and gave a smirk. She blurted out my name and smiled proudly. Then she pointed at the other girl and said "she told me it's just because you like me, but I told her, no...you just want me to know your name". I said "that's right, because I'm special". I smiled, winked, and walked out.

Question: Should I have done more today or was this a decent leave? How can I transition this into lunch, coffee, a date, or whatever? The way she looks / smiles at me and watches me walk across the parking lot seems to be an IOI, but it's also her job to be friendly so it's hard to say.

Haha buddy you already got her number in the bag, you played it pretty well.

Next time you see her just ask her a question that makes her qualify herself, like, "you seem pretty friendly. Are you fun to hang out with?"

HB: "Yeah"

You: "Excellent, because I only like fun people. You know we could hang out tonight if you behave yourself, wack me your number and I'll hit you up sometime."

I'm 100% sure you'll get the #.

I like phrasing the # close a above, because it's vague whether you want to go out with her tonight or just an open-ended close. If she particularly wants to go out tonight or is free she might initiate the timing. If not you can, or just text/call her later.
