So I've been talking to this girl for a few weeks - met her while I was bartending, she was flirting with me pretty hard, gave me her number and basically asked me out. We both work a lot and have pretty tough schedules, so we've only hung a few times in 3 weeks, made out a good bit and I came real close to closing the deal. She's also not much of a texter, which is fine because I'm too busy to be texting back and forth all day anyway.

Anyway, the last week or so I've noticed her seeming a little standoffish. Friend of mine is a bartender at another bar nearby, said that he's seen her in there a few times getting cozy with another guy. No big deal, but I'm pretty sure that's why she's been distant towards me. How do I tip the scales in my favor from this other guy? Last contact I had with her was last night, texted her and never heard back (according to my buddy, she was out with the other guy). Her and her friends still come into the bar I work at, I'm expecting to see them one night this week in there. Haven't seen her come in with another guy...yet.

Any tips?

Not much detail was provided but you hung out with her a few times over a 3 week period and didn't close. She probably got bored and is moving on. Try to escalate faster with the next girls. Women aren't that much different from us guys; they want action they just can't be overt about asking for it.

I don't think that's it...well maybe she got bored with me, but not for lack of escalation. I came damn close to closing the second time we hung out, but she pumped the brakes on me. The last time we hung out, we were just in a setting where it wasn't feasible. The sexual tension was never a problem, that was there from the beginning.

I know she's hanging out with another guy, which is fine - I've got other lines in the water too, just not quite sure how to grab her attention better at this point.

Bingo. With the next girls set the stage if possible so that it is not 3 meets without the opportunity on the third meeting for instance to escalate in a private location.
