I got this girls number and I really haven't texted her much. I got the number friday and only texted a bit on Saturday. She is friends of one of my friends so she added me on Facebook the next morning. She has been liking and commenting on everything i freaking post so i thought she may be interested. Just about an hour ago i gave her a call (she was at work). She texted me back asking what was up and i asked if she wanted to hangout thursday night and she really likes wine so i told her i just got a bottle of wine to drink and thought she would be interested. She said "I appreciate the offer, but I'm gonna have to pass on the wine adventure. (:" I guess i have no idea what the smile is supposed to mean. I'm assuming i just got rejected but the smile is confusing. I'm not gonna waste my time cuz this would be a cheap hookup but does anyone have any suggestions on what this means or a possible response to clarify things?

Could it be that an invitation to your place for a bottle of wine (yeah, right...) was too soon... she may have expected that you invite her OUT for a glass of wine... the smile means "try again"... good luck!

^Agreed, asking her to come drink with you that early on won't work, sounds like you are trying to get her drunk. Invite her on a date to somewhere rather than your seduction pad.
