Last night I went out to a club and met some guys I know only well enough to say hello to. They all live together in a student house. Any way I'm social proofing as the guys look really excited to see me, high fives and hugs etc. We all start dancing in the club. Later on that night I isolate the HB from the set and pretty much instantly make out with her.

A short while after I say "lets go grab some drinks at my place" which is maybe where I went wrong, regardless of leading her and reassuring her saying "Trust me it'll be fine" she stopped and said she has to go back to her friends. This might be because it was an hour before the club shut or something else.

There's also another problem, her ex is out with them all. They exchanged words as we left the club and we all ended up back at their house chilling in the kitchen. Her ex is watching my every move but when the lights got turned off I sat next to her and started rubbing her back for a while when nobody could see. People start going to bed one by one but her ex stays up, and the moment I go for a piss he takes my place and sits next to her. I eventually leave.

What could I have done different? I'm thinking I should have stayed out of sight from her ex bf and waited until the club closed then led her to my place instead as opposed to trying to get her out an hour early.

And is it worth trying anything now? I have her number but she doesn't have mine.
