Hi guys! I'm struggling with a problem and I can't seem to find a solution for this and I hope you guys can give me any tips ... So a bit more info about myself (sry for my english):

I'm 22 yo, living in Belgium and I've never been good at hitting on girls or getting the girls, dispite the efforts. I've had one serious relationship of 1,5 year and besides that, the only girls (while being in Belgium) that I've made out with / slept with were because of mutual friends or drunken one night stands. Right after highschool I tried college for 2 years, didnt work out and started to work. After a few months I decided to travel, staying only in hostels or couchsurfing and each trip takes about 2,5 months. While staying in hostels you meet a lot of new people, most of them single travellers like me. In those hostels it's a lot easier for me to chat to girls and eventually picking them up because the conversations are much more open and don't die that easy: you start off with introducing yourself, telling where you're from, which places you already visited during your trip, mutual experiences, etc ... Before you know it you've been talking for an hour, both are getting more comfortable talking to the other person, sometimes flirting starts and you know how the end of the story.

But my problem is that I don't really feeling comfortable talking to girls from my home country as when I'm chatting to foreign girls on my trips. Approaching is not a problem, whether it is in a club, bar, train or public location but most of the times I run out of things to say and the conversation dies. This is so frustrating and no mather how many girls I approach, this part doesn't improve ...

TL;DR:
- conversations and picking up is a lot easier while travelling for me.
- back in my country I run out of things to say and conversation dies.

So I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips, tricks or other things that I can use? Would be really helpfull !
