You don't need to be a douchebag, but it seems that nice guys are not her type. It may be too late and you may already be in the friend zone, but I think is worth trying something a little bit more aggressive. Don't ask her to meet, tell her you're gonna meet, otherwise, tell her to stop texting you cause you have better things to do than wasting time on the phone.

If you are not in the friend zone already, you need to meet her as soon as possible and escalate fairly quick, cause it looks to me you're going that way.

From my opinion, her flaking could possibly be her giving you a shit test. The fact that you haven't talked to her in a month means you're not in the friend zone.

It's completely fine to be a nice guy, hell, I'm one too, you just need to lead her and be assertive. If she flakes on you again joke around with her and show that you're not gonna go out of your way for her if she keeps acting like that. I used a texting routine on a girl one time, I can't remember where on this forum i found it, but it's a touch aggressive but it puts you out there. she flaked, and i joked that I was gonna delete her number off my phone, she had to qualify herself, and bam she hasn't flaked since.
