I'm toying with the idea of coming out and telling a girl that I'm involved in the pickup community. In my thoughts, I've kinda narrowed it down to a certain strategy.

I don't want to come out and say "Hey, I'm a pickup artist."

The best route I'd like to take would be a subtle one. Try to ease into the subject naturally by maybe pointing out how some guy in the bar couldn't get a hint from a girl. Then I'd mention how Im good at noticing small subtleties to conversation with women such as body language. I could tell her certain things I notice women do to pickup on their interest. We have a long conversation about how animalistic we are. Words mean much less when attracting women. Body language and vibe is much more important. I could use examples of eye contact and touch.

The point is, inevitably she will inquire about where, why or how I know these things. I could then mention how I've spent time studying social dynamics of women. I might not use the word pickup until some more inquiry. She'll ask why do I do this? I say because I love women and that I want to understand them better. I can form better relationships with them now. I learned much of my knowledge from a community of people who are like minded. It's a pickup community who shares knowledge through direct communication and books.

Do you get what I'm talking about? I feel like this may be great for DHV because it is very brazen, confident and deep. It also gives you the opportunity to kino and escalate sexually as the conversation will steer that way naturally. What do you think?

Yeah. I occasionally play hockey with friends. Do you think it's a good idea for me to tell women I play in the NHL? If you're not a true PUA, don't tell them you're a PUA.

I never said explicitly say you're a pua. Just let her know you see things in this different way.

Do you make a living out of PUA? Is your business doing well?

If the answer to either if those questions is no, don't say anything. I get along really well with one of the girls at work, she's been in a lesbian relationship for a few years, so we will always be just mates. I told her that I absolutely LOVE going out and talking to girls. I told her the chase is what I love the most, the result is a bonus. She respected that.

I can't see any reason why you can't tell your girl the same thing. You love picking up girls, that's awesome!

I have only ever told my close friends that i've read up on pua , but i don't make out like im some sort of guru with special powers.. but, i do have a friend who is a self proclaimed pua ( he only goes for chicks that don't speak English mind you).. anyway ever since he told me this, its like he is always put on the spot to perform when we are in public.. not a good position to be in all the time with people expecting you to pick up..

This guy is not a pua with whit and style- just a dude that plays the numbers game.. after harassing 80 random girls that don't speak English eventually 3 of them give the number.. but, maybe that's what happens to some people when they are put on the spot? they force their mojo and it comes out wrong.
