- with one girl had a lot of time to chat and see each other a few times. Was able to isolate, get her number, call her, she called me and texted me back twice after I told her I was busy for the weekend. I should have taken her 2nd call but shit was going on. Still friendly with her but that's another story. Would actually rather friendzone her for a bit and hit on her friends but wonder how to manage all that.
- Next girl is probably the hottest in the class. Pleasant but seems shy, maybe it's a language thing or maybe she's concentrating on actually learning. Typically shows up last and and first to leave with her friend. Since she doesn't stick around it's a little harder to get any conversation in, and this class changes up partners every few minutes.
BTW a lot of the girls seem shy and English isn't their first language. Bit of a cultural minefield.
I didn't want to leave it too long, it had already been several classes. I was direct and told her I thought she was attractive which she didn't seem to mind. I blathered on a bit and then asked her if she wanted to get a drink.
- fail 1: not reading her correctly or building enough interest
- fail 2: I think I should have just let my complement sink in longer
- fail 3: Should have suggested rather than asking, and coffee instead of a drink.
I have stuff afterwards on some nights so I can't always stick around. I don't want that to be limiting. What should I say? I'm busy tonight, but I want your number because I want to talk to you some more.
Too direct?
