And one more thing, I was basically negging her alot of times and tease her the same time, and she said "later im going to find the guy I like nearby already"... im like huh? but ignore anyways. then when I tried to ask for date at the end, she says she dont know, and I dont even felt like number closing anymore.

Yeah screening means exactly what you said, just deciding if you want her or not.

As far as the guy she likes part, remember its possible for a person to be attracted to more than one person, and if shes hot then chances are there will always be someone other than you who is interested in the girl. My advice in this case is to change gears a little and be much more direct. As Majikal said you should take the fact the girl was trying to impress you as an IOI, therefore you dont need to neg her. A neg is mainly used when a girl feels shes a little too good for you, so you use subtle putdowns to make her qualify herself to you.
