So here is the situation. I'm in College, and i got this girls number at an afternoon party on friday. we were touching and talking alot, i got her number. Eventually my friends and her friends went to grab food, then dropped by to see a little art show on campus. While there I wandered a bit and was talking to friends, then she just left (friend said she looked over her shoulder to see what i was doing before she left).

I texted her

"Ditchin'?"

10 minutes later she said yeah sorry, heading back home. I asked her if she wanted to come watch a movie and didnt get a reply (i believe she fell asleep)

Next day we had the following texting conversation. Now, my text game is generally pretty shitty. So any comments would be much appreciated! I wanted to hangout tonight after a formal party i'm going with a date too, never got around to asking her. Anyways, here are the texts. Hulp!

My: Hey, art gallery ditcha! you recover from drinking all my rum yesterday? :p

Her: hahah sorry about that hah yeaaaa it was a struggle

Me: lol s'all good, i take it you aren't much of an art conoseur? I saw your two friends clutching each other and stumbling home from dinner on my way back too, you were far less struggling than them. What did you feed them?!

Her: Hahah it was roughh but they're all fine now

Me: Waddup being wasted at 6! I actually had a question for you- so you don't smoke, but do you do anything to celebrate today's holiday or is it just another saturday?

Her: haha nahh i don't really do anything for it

me: word, fair did you end up making it out again last night?

her: nooo that did not happen hah how was the rest of ur night?

me: it was alright- myself and a few friends ended up cooking a ridiculous gourmet italian feast, then hit up a party and ended up hottubin!

Havn't received a response from her yet, in hind-sight i guess i shouldn't really expect one?

Anyways, comments and where to go from here are appreciated!

edit* I'm going to a formal tonight, but was hoping to hangout or something when i get back. Would it be a bad idea to send her a text later (maybe before heading to the formal, or during/when i get back?). Even if she doesnt reply to the last text (doubt she will- looking back its pretty boring)

From the look of the conversation you seem slightly desperate and she is just trying her hardest to be polite but shake you off. Small replies, no real interest etc.

Although your texts were pretty weak (no goal/flirting/humor, etc.) they are not the reason she is not interested. Something that happened during the night is the reason she is not interested.

If she were even slightly interested she would have said "bye" before leaving the Art exhibit. My thoughts are that you ran decent enough game in the begenning which got her to stick around, but once she showed a little interest you started trying to build comfort a little too soon. If your conversation that night was similar to your conversation in the texts then she grew tired of "normal". A lot of new PUA are good with the openers as they are pretty easy, but the transition seems to be where they lose traction. Take it as a learning experience.

Go back and read your texts and her replies again (3rd person perspective) and see if you can find the flaws.
