Occupation idea for kino?

Location: Hoboken no jokin'
So I work in a hematology lab and do an overnight shift. Basically I'm up all night, work with blood, sometimes drawing patients. Patients have called me a bloodsucker and/or a vampire lol.

I was thinking to use this to open up some kino like neck biting. She asks my occupation and I tell her I'm a vampire then explain the above. Any ideas on how to smooth this over?
