I've given this girl lots of attention, people around her seem to realise I am definitely worth it. She likes me a hell of a lot and has had thougts of me as a potential boyfriend in the past but I didn't notice back then. She trusts me a lot. We respond to eachother's ramblings on social media daily. And she enjoys my company both in the pub in which I've practiced a little tiny bit of kino lately, and out of the pub. We have never been on a one-on-one situation for any longer than a few minutes though.

But, as soon as I try to make a move on her and ask her out on a one on one date - she'll reject nicely because she has feelings for this crush of hers, of whom she has no chance with, according to her best friend who likes me a lot too.

I want to ask her out for the last time on Valentine's Day, and I 've made a hundred mistakes already and I definitely do not want to mess this up again because the INTEREST and CHEMISTRY is there and I'm confident that she'll give me a chance if I ask this in a correct way. Therefore I'd like to ask everyone's help for a facebook/phone call scenario in which I can get her to agree to go on a date with me regardless of her current feelings for her crush. Being a dickhead/jerk won't work, she completely blocks those out of her life.

I have her number, am Facebook friends and know where she lives.
I can't see her in real life right now (unless she agrees to go on a date, heh)

Thanks a lot for your responses!

A date is a formal occasion in which two people get to know each other in order to judge mating potential. Doesn't sound pleasant, does it? So don't ask her for a date. A date creates expectations, and expectations create stress. Instead, ask her to come over to your place to do something fun. Ignore the crush completely, never mention the guy, change the subject if she starts talking about him. If you can get her alone somewhere and you see the opportunity, go in for the kiss (DO NOT PUSSY OUT, YOU'LL REGRET IT). If she's not willing, you move on to another girl.
