So heres the deal - I work in a large office estate, company holds just over 100 people. Every 3 months the company arranges yearly outings, its a social thing, team building if you will

October 2011, I went to an event that was arranged for us, for Halloween. Basically a walking tour around a city, based on a horror icon who lived centuries ago. I hadnt been with the company long, so the huge group of people that attended from the company ment i knew next to no one. Towards the end of the tour I had a girl tap me on the shoulder and ask me if i were the new guy. We had a brief conversation for about 5 minutes. She was quite attractive, but the main thing being, she made the first attempt of contact

Next week at work I tried to find out some more about her, it was only then I realized she was in another department, on the other side of the building, so I would never see her, and due to our job titles it ment that we had no need to contact each other on any level. Company outings was the only time I was going to see her

July 2012, was the next event we both attended. Didnt really say anything to each other straightaway, as we only spoke for a brief 5 minutes in October! This event was at a Horse Race Stadium, everyone was drinking. Didnt see her the whole day, as we were with our own friends/groups. Again towards the end of the event, she came up to me and my group and started talking to us. Thats when things got pretty heavy. We both loved a bit of banter so we were going at each other like crazy. Really flirting with each other, and my other male colleagues saw that. And then she kept on putting her hand out, fingers on my chest and then slowly running them down me and letting off. To me she was giving major IOI's, but I just didnt know how to react. Eventually everyone had to get on the coach and leave so thats where it ended

Next day she added me on facebook. Had a bit more banter throwing at each other on there

Next week when we went back to work I saw her with a girl colleague going to lunch, I said hello to them, but she said 'ive been told im not allowed to talk to you anymore' and she walked off. I think some of her other girls colleagues may have been the route of the problem i have no idea


Well next time Im going to she her is this Friday, at the Christmas Work Party. What is your take on this? Total time is going to be about 6 hours, free alcoholic bar, small enclosed hall rented by the company. She will be with a small group of girls, which I think may cause a problem.

Should i try to get her alone?
How do i escalate them IOI's if she starts giving them again? I think i need to look over during the first parts of the night and see if she does it to anyone else first, incase thats just how she is naturally
