Whenever I go out I, more often than not, get compared to Taylor Lautner, Jacob Black or "the guy from Twilight". I resemble him a little bit and can see why people would make the connection...but no.

Either way, it's a compliment nonetheless, but whenever it happens I usually just say "thank you" and I can't think of anything witty to say afterwards. Sometimes I get approached by women (woo!) and they go on about how I look like "the guy from Twilight" but then all I can think of to do afterwards is say "thank you". It's even worse in that situation because there's no previous conversation topic to work from, whereas if I've already talked to the group and they make the connection, I can at least work from what we've already talked about. When I've tried to converse afterwards it's been really awkward and the girls would just walk off.

So, what I need is a comeback/response. When a girl compares me to Taylor Lautner, what should I say afterwards that is witty and can start a conversation?

I'd probably say something like: Yeah I get that a lot, You could at least ask me my name first.

Just say anything that could basically start a conversation, no need for witty comebacks.

Always keep a set of fake plastic vampire teeth in your front pocket. Then when they make that comment, turn away briefly, slip those teeth in, then turn back around and smile and say "What about now?"

i get that comparison too, and i'll say something like "aw no way! really? see i've always been on team edward. he's just meant for kristin stewart." you guys can laugh and joke about it for a sec, then see what kind of movies or actor they like. its never not worked to get a conversation started.
