Yeah I know the title of my thread sounds like the latest mega production gay porno film, but it's not; bear with me.

I need your advice guys.

As a bit of context, I'm on this regional soccer (football for europeans) team (mixed, so it's both women and men playing together and versus). And then there is this girl. I like her, very much so. The problem is, two other guys seem to do as well.

Now I've recently arrived on this team, just played a couple of games with them, while the two guys have known her for a bit longer. This one guy has tried on several occasions to match up with any of the girls on this team, her included, and since women talk and they are friends, he's looked at, probably, as a sleazebag and has had all of his advances rejected (he's a pretty cool dude actually).

My point is, do I go and eliminate the competition or work at it slowly, trying to separet from the crowd, acquiring value. I consider myself adept (not master or anything) at the game, but this situation is a first for me. Oh, and I probably don't have to tell you that she might be receiving a little too much attention on the team right now.

Any advice would be appreciated.

P.S. I am confident this girl is attracted to me. I can say with certainty that IOI's have been fulfilled.

Ignore that girl for now. Find another girl and have her come to your games and practices or whatever and go kiss her in front of the girl you like before/after the game. If you focus on your competition and not women, you'll get nowhere.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Will go for the ignore. But I'm just thinking out loud here, will the kissing part of the other girl distance me further from the target girl or will somehow jealousy or unavailability trigger her desire more?

I'm thinking it's the latter, I'm just wondering if this might not be a bit counterproductive. Probably isn't since most or all that I thought logical or known about women has proved to be oh so wrong.

Here's why it works. It makes her jealous. And women want what they can't have. Eventually when you start talking to your target she'll be flattered that you are giving her the time of day.

Flip the script and picure the opposite. What if you saw your target kissing the captain of your soccer team? Then one day, possibly in front of him, she starts flirting with you and is like "We should hang out sometime." You'd be flattered that she is choosing you over the other guy. It would boost your ego and make you feel good.
