Met 8.5 who works at tanning salon. Conversed with her several times on a professional/friendly basis. We talked about halloween last week and how she was going to be Eve. Today, I get a text from her telling me I better come by to look at her costume.

SHE LOOKED UP MY NUMBER ON SYSTEM/I NEVER ASKED, GAVE IT TO HER

A few joking texts back and forth since...best play...just go see her.

I agree with Ninja,

Cocky/funny and push/pull will get you quite far enough to know how far she's willing to chase, but eventually, you need to build some rapport.

Having the power of control over the relationship (even if its not apparent) is a must though.

I dont get the above posts. He clearly has an opportunity to fuck so why would he play cat and mouse at all?

Edit: ahh wait, when he said he should come by i though he meant go to her place and look. My bad, i agree with puaninja if its going to the salon and looking at the costume.

I agree with the above but I would word the rejection to go in and see her costume carefully. This girl has already stepped out of the norm and taken your number from your contact details and then contacted you. As we all know it is usually us doing the first moves so she would have been nervous to do this and taking a risk. If she gets the impression you are not interested at all she will back right off and feel silly that she did this. She MAY not contact you for another meet up. Then you'll be chasing her

Out of interest if you where keen on this girl and have conversed several times why did you wait for her to make this move? Im surprised you haven't done a number close before this. But hey you are here now so all good and good luck
