Hey guys just wondering if you could help me out with some advice. So this girl is an HB8 imo. A little back story. I met her at a funeral last week (terrible right?). She is a friend of friends. Got her on facebook and got her number from there. Been texting her back and fourth for a couple days. I think she had a bf but she just went single according to facebook like yesterday haha. Trying to be careful though because a handful of my friends have told me this girl is a man eater.Anyways here is a snipit from our text convo.

HB: Do you like wine?

Me: Yes I do. I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur but I do enjoy it. Why do you ask?

HB: My dad is a connoisseur and I grew up around it, I enjoy it the most. You should come with me to his monthly wine tasting at ______

Me: Sounds like fun. When is it?

HB: October 17


So that was the last text I received. She sent it to me yesterday evening. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should respond to it to confirm the date or if I should just leave it at that. I do like to keep girls waiting a bit before texting back so Im not really in too big of a rush. But for logistical reasons I would need to know if the event was in the evening or the daytime. Because I work in the daytime. I would be willing to take off work for the day to attend the event if needed however I would not want her to know that I am taking a day off for her.
