Just met her a few days ago. Havent had a chance to go out, all we've had is great conversation via phone. We agreed to meet up, wasn't till after the weekend. Yesterday shes telling me that shes really dreading this date she shes going to go on. Okay sure just trying to make me jelly, I could care less at this point. Shes hyping him up telling me he's a District Attorney but at the same time saying why can't we be going out instead.

So I get home read the text from her and it reads verbatim...
"FYI.. The DA did sweep me off my feet. Lol surprisingly and awesome first date. It'll be hard for you to top.."

I normally would just say whatever and pass on but its just clawing at me now.

Ok, first thing, that's a very bitchy thing to do and a very shitty attitude to have. I would just forget about this girl altogether and move on.


However, if you are determined to game her, then you must realize that this is a pretty obvious congruence test. YOU CANNOT JUMP THROUGH HER HOOP, you cannot do it, you have to take the hoop away from her and make her jump. I'm thinking that doing the same (ie. going out on your own and saying you had a great time too) would be too obvious and seem desperate.

Yeah what Datik said, this is a pretty weird thing for a girl to do - and very unclassy. But don't tell her that, that won't go down well!

(This shit does happen though. Just last week I had a girl send me a 5 page long text about how she only goes for rich, hung, built guys, and how I better be up to the challenge. I just ignored it and my reply was like 2 lines long. Easy.)

You don't want her in that headspace of comparing you to anyone else. So ignore the text, and text her about something else. Something that happened in your day, or some joke between you two.

I agree with the guys above. You may ask yourself if you wanna date a girl like that.

Maybe it's an idea to use the straw man technique. If it works on boyfriends it might also work on first dates. Put the DA on an even larger pedestal than she has done already. Ask her how the date went, what they talked about, where they had gone to etc. etc. and make the guy even greater that he was. maybe she will think about the things he didn't do or didn't say and realize the date wasn't that great as she thought it was.

It sounds to me like she initially liked you more. Possibly that she was trying to convince you to try and push the other guy out of the way and be her date that night instead. Since you didn't go for it, she's hurt or whatever and is now trying to make you feel like crap for not doing so.
