Talking to this HB9 online, and its been pretty mellow talking about similar interests in traveling and making jokes, Beta shit for sure (but I keep throwing out DHV's to keep myself afloat.) Anyways, she is responding often but is avoiding my question of taking her out..

She had said something about being scared of being Taken when traveling, so i asked her something along the lines of "so I'm guessing you are apprehensive to meeting people from online". Well to my surprise she said no she doesnt mind, I took that as an opening to ask her out.

Me- when was the last time you went to a show? (music)
HB9- been a while blah blah.. my step dad is in a band so probably a month a go
Me- Thats badass, show i was going to this friday got cancelled. We should go see a show together...

right here is my problem
she responds with.

HB9- What it got cancelled, blah blah (she knows about the show but totally skips the fact that I asked her out)

So I get a little more detailed.

Me- Yeah the singer just got out of prison but its still cancelled, I would say we should go see ____x (insert one of her fav. bands) But its like 2 months out from now.

HB9- What they have a show in 2 months, I didn't even know...

so now she avoided my hints to going out with her twice and I dont know how to respond to this shit.

If she keeps obviously ignoring you that way it's pretty likely she is giving you an indicator of disinterest without wanting to be too blunt. This can be frustrating and it's tempting to just call her on it. But this is probably not worth doing. The odds are pretty low that she's so out of touch she isn't hearing you ask her. If you want to be clear, then ask more directly. Give a specific time and date and ask her to go with you, something she can't easily dodge.

Or you can accept she is not interested enough yet and focus on building more attraction.

i would never give up without getting a NO! If, she really was 100 % not interested she wouldn't be talking to me, (this is okcupid) she is a HB9 with a funny profile says she reply's very selectively, so i'm assuming she gets 100 messages a day yet she has been talking to me for like 4 days.
