Hey guys,


Im doing real good openeing girls (I usually throw 2 or 3 openers in a row). But then, when Im outta stuff to say, I go cold and go back to AFC crap (where u from, do you come here often, etc).

So with 1 girl out of 2, I can make a connection with the opener and keep a nice discussion going and kiss close or number close like 99% of the time, but for the other half, once Im out of stuff to say, the discussion dries up and I either get rejected or leave before getting rejection .


So I guess my question is : what do u guys do, after opening, to keep the girl talking and keep the discussion rolling ? How do you DHV or how do you keep the connection going ?

Have lots of stories to tell, that way you should always have more to say. I read somewhere about using open ended statements that cause her to ask questions rather than just asking her question after question.

Someone else posted a salesman technique thats used to keep customers talking without having to say much - you basically take something they said and use it as a question. For example:
HB: "I used to work for bla bla bla"
You: "used to?"
HB: "Yeah I decided that I prefer doing x"
You: "Oh so you're into x then?"

The guy who posted it called it that parrot technique or something like that I think.

Lol, as a matter of fact I was the one posting that. Nice, my parrot technique is a "thing" now

Anyway, I posted the first comment of this post after a crappy night (one number out of 4 approaches). The thing is, I was pretty drunk so I guess that certainly didnt help.

This happens to me a lot too. Sometimes it's just about the interest level of the girl- if they are interested, they will also try to keep the conversation rolling, and won't leave if it slows down. But it kind of sucks when you feel like they aren't really responding to you and that you are losing them and their attention.

I sometimes find it useful to just talk about random things that come up in your mind. Just pick a random topic that you find interesting and go for it.
