Hey guys I'm new here, gotta say first of all the forum is amazing, keep it up!

Anyway, I want to know what you guys suggest I should do. Here is the background info, I tried to shorten it up: I met this girl at my uni in the UK last year, we seemed to get along but nothing happened. Now this August a month before school starts again I came back to the UK as I had some stuff to do so I asked if she wanted to grab some food. She agreed so we went out and it seemed like she really had a good time, was laughing at all my jokes, touching her hair etc giving the signals that she is interested. She even told me she wants to come over and cook for me lol. A week passed, did not contact her as wanted to freeze out but before leaving the place, I asked her out again but she told she couldnt make it as she had a family event but wanted to meet up when I get back.

So my question is, while away, how often and in what way should I contact her? I was thinking a couple of texts would be appropriate maybe once/twice a week but not too much, just to keep her interested as long as the texting is mutual. What do you guys think?

Any tips greatly appreciated. And sorry for the long post!

Yeah I'd probably do what you're saying. Go ahead and text her while away, but you're not in a relationship so shes allowed to do whatever she feels.

As for why I was freezing her out, I just did not want to appear like I had nothing else to do aside from talking to her. For future reference, after I take her out should I not wait before contacting her again? I mean should I not hold back a couple of days/wait until she contacts me?

Well you don't wanna do that anymore. Honestly, I only used freeze outs when I wanted to punish the girl.

I would text the girl the next day and see where it goes from there. You're the man, you just initiate and pretty soon she'll be chasing you if you play your cards right.
Don't hold back, the whole wait a couple days thing after a date/call is crap.
