I just started at a new college and have been opening women like crazy. Unfortunately up until today i didnt have a cell phone and couldnt #close but i continue to run into the same problem. All pretty women are either talking to or in a relationship with a man, normal. But what do i do if they bring up their significant other?

Example
I was sitting in the lunch room talking to a new girl. I was being playful with her and hitting on her but i noticed she kept texting someone. Being the practical person I am I wanted to get the big question outta the way so I said :
"who are you texting your boyfreind?"
-Yeah
"that sucks because i know you don't have as much fun with him as you are having now"
-actually hes in japan, he's in the military
blah blah blah
"does it suck to date someone in the military"
blabitty fucking blah blah
-he never lets me have any fun
(time to SMT) "i'm sure he understands you i would"

I basically went with the flow and had no problem talking about her boyfriend
Good or Bad?

later on in the evening i went to close a girl BUT before i did i wanted to make sure she was single

"Well i would really like continue this conversation, i'll put my number in your phone"
-okay
"wait do you have a boyfriend"
-yes
"oooh girl your gonna get in trouble"

i want advice on how to keep the conversation flowing if a boyfriend is brought up

What's wrong with you buddy? Who cares if she has a bf or not?
If she wants to push you away, she will herself tell you she has a BF.
