So I have this girl in my office who I ended up talking to in the office bar last friday. This went great, good opener, 15 min convo, made her laugh and then told her I had to leave for a Happy Hour.

Sent her an email following Monday with a youtube clip of some of the things we were joking about Friday. Led to a day long emailing back and forth thing. During the back and forth she said "How was happy hour Friday? Is that what the cool kids do every week? Can you sneak me in?"

So I replied: "Happy hour invites are really hard to come by but I guess I could sneak you in but you got to make sure you don't make me look bad."

Her reply, "I will practice my dance moves and party tricks before the next HH so as not to shame you."

Seems like she wants a HH invite to hang, right? But at the end of the work day the conversation was over and we haven't really talked since. We don't work in the same department so we never have a natural work reason to talk. Now its Wednesday and I'm looking for ideas of the next move. So I email her or something or just wait till Friday and hope I can put together a Happy Hour group? Or anything else?

Send random email like: "Went to the pet store, saw a fish that reminded me of you!"

Open a quick convo, tell her you have a funny SMS to send her, and get her number.

Thoughts? I'm intrigued by her usage of "!" in just about every sentence. Also how she flat out said I'd like to come. I'm not used to women being this straight forward.
