I know I'm new to the forum, and have no right to be asking questions: but screw it I need some advice, as I just got out of a shit test war that left me exhausted.

There's this co worker that I finally started talking to about a week ago, and I got good IOIs from, I even slightly kino'd after she kino'd me first. Yet about a day ago she was completely hard to get to. I had to go to her office in order to coordinate on some stuff regarding a new project, and bam all of a sudden she started the shit test with: "you're just here because you want to spend time with me." To which I responded with: "I'm just here to do my job." After this she wasn't cold per-se, but man she was just teasing me the whole time, and being mean lol--man I sound like a bitch.

At one point she asked me if I was single, to which I replied yes. And then she went on to reply: good, no one would stand you. I was getting some effective mirroring from her after this, and more teasing. At this point though, she is not as friendly as she was the first time; so what's the new strategy? This shit felt like a fucking battle, a battle I will not loose now. I feel almost insulted, and TEASED!!! I AMOGED, a point on which I do have a slight advantage because I'm in a position that projects power in my workplace, but that only goes so far. So any advice guys? Yes she is taken, and yes I am still trying.

you've misinterpreted her behaviour. these are blatant IOIS. she wants to banter just be the man and come out with a better comeback each time that also sexually escalates the conversation. instead of saying im just here to do my job just laugh and say you would like that wouldn't you or something to that effect
