Prom is exactly one week away and sadly enough, my date canceled on me so I'm going stag. I'd ask somoene else but all the HBs of the school are out of town on a school trip. (No I'm not exagerating on that)

Anyway, I'm fairly new to the PUA world and I've opened a few sets during lunch and class and I have some problems that I'd like to improve on so I could potentially steal dates during prom and bounce them to an after party. I don't really know how to transition smoothly between routines. Here's the set I opened yesterday

Me: Hey, I need your opinion on something. Who lies more? Women or men?
HB: Women of course!
Me: Really? What makes you say that?
HB: Because women don't think it's lying! haha
Me: hahahaha so are you saying you can lie better than me?
HB: Of course!
Me: Fine. Let's play a game. All you have to do is answer all my questions incorrectly.
HB: Alright let's play.
Me: [5 lies game and she loses]
HB: Hahaha alright [After the game I didn't know what to do]

Maybe the conversation went cold because I didn't wager anything. Since I'm in high school should I wager things like "If I win, you have to tell me an interesting story" and "if I win you have to tell me a funny joke?" I've never really gotten farther than that in any of the sets I've opened.

What do I to transition to other routines or number close/k-close? Any openers for prom? Any tips on how to bounce women with dates from prom to an after party?

If you use this routine which isn't bad at all do use a wager. There's no point in doing it without you asking her something in return. Now you're plain entertaining her (at best).

But it will take far more time to make you more desired. One does not change over a week's time.

Well, my natural game is pretty good. It's was just a lack of confidence and some insecurities. Things have been clicking a lot faster than I expected so I think I could pick up some girls during prom.
