I fucked up a while back.


Met a girl at a party, full HB10, no doubt. Hottest girl I've ever seen in real life.

Added eachother on facebook but never really talked again and kinda forgot about her.

Let's call her Lauren.


Another party, a few weeks later. There are only people who also study what I do. The bar is crowded and noisy, people are drinking.

This really hot girl keeps smiling at me and I decide to go talk to her. At this point I think she looks a little like a girl I know from work, Laurie (..), she is also wearing a cute hockey outfit which I can tease her with and if those two things aren't enough I've always got our mutual interest in psychology to fall back on. I won't get that far for now..

Loosely translated from Dutch:

C1PH3R: Hey.
Lauren: Hey!
C1PH3R: I saw you and you kinda look like this girl I work with. I thought you might be related. Her name is Laurie.

I think at this point it went wrong because she couldn't hear me very well because of the noise, so she only heard half of what I said.

Lauren: Lauren.
C1PH3R: No, Laurie.
Lauren: My name is Lauren.

To make it worse I couldn't hear her very well either so she had to repeat it a couple of times. Followed by an awkward little silence.

Thinking I had totally blown it I decided to call retreat and tell her that I wanted to go outside for a smoke since she looked like a totally nice girl.

C1PH3R: Yeah.. I'm gonna have a smoke..
Lauren: Can I have one?

Ehm.. What is happening?

C1PH3R: Sure.

I turn around and walk outside, she follows me and we go and sit on some barstools.

We actually had a nice conversation for a while, but it turned a little awkward again before we finished our cigarettes, we then parted with saying goodbye.


Anyway. She had a new boyfriend 3 weeks later and I think I had a shot with her but I blew it.


A few months went by and just now, she turned her facebook status to single.



My question. What the hell should I do!?

not because it can't work or it won't work !! it can definitely work.

but the reason I'm saying this is for you to learn to get over some stuff, because you shouldn't have even thought of her that much ! thats too much effort for one chick.

No, I know. I also kinda forgot about her in the meantime but she is just incredibly hot
