After a second thought, I was probably over analyzing the situation.

What are some good first date ideas (with NO car)? And how do I bring up the question?

Drinks, at a quiet bar. Works for me, I have no car. I usually just say "I think we should meet up sometime. When are you free?" or "What are you doing this XXXX night?".

Don't overthink it, there's no such thing as "text game". If she liked you when you met, she'll respond to pretty much anything as long as it's not weird (avoid a lot of peoples' text game advice, it's weird and it will fuck you up). If she didn't like you that much, nothing you say is going to change it, not even the best most well crafted text in the world.
