I can open, now i need to know how to hook.

I do streetgame mainly, so after ive asked for coffee shop directions how would i go about following it up and hooking.

In social settings i could see how to hook but this is in the street or in a mall, so its not exactly a social area.

So recap:


Indirect/directions opener, in the street/mall, how do i hook from there?

Using this model of things, you need to insert a false time constraint, and stack on more material (gambit, another opener, a good story). Then as you stack on more material and have interesting things to talk about the set will start to hook. You'll see them actually kind of turn and square up to you. That's when you know you got it.

Okay feel free to tell me you cant be bothered to help me, i understand this is an old question but here's my first attempt at another opener/hooking material.

It's probably quite bad but here it goes:

Opener: hey. . . im looking for the nearest coffee shop around here. I was wondering if you could help me?

The Hook: Thanks, you're so friendly for someone in the big city (Qualification?). . .

Im in a hurry to meet a friend but another quick question, see, ive got these female SPAM who constantly try to dress me up in their clothes. Is this normal girl behaviour?

Looks okay. The proof is in the results it gets you. It may work well for you it might not. Test it to find out. 90% of getting the girl to hook is going to be your confident behavior, body language, energy level, etc.

Im having trouble with coming up with ideas for quick stories to tell after the opener.

Do you have any ideas? Like any experience you have in daygame

Then just take it from there! I got the idea after watching the guy who wrote "The Game" say somthing about going to get makeup done would be the best place to pick up chicks. Maybe you can actually get the HB to go with you to get your makeup done!

Ok if you want to hook a girl in day game.... or even night game i use the rings routine....

Run your opener whatever you feel comfy with .... just as your leaving say" hey quick question before i go , do you always wear that ring on that finger ? or your not wearing any rings... that is really interesting it tells me a lot about you...

She will say " So what does it say about me " or something along these lines ....

you can then take it where ever you want ...ie " Well i tell you what im about to grab a quick coffee , would you like to join me , i cant stay long (TC) but i will tell you all about it....

Style does have a pretty good point of meeting girls around the makeup counter.

Remember, NEVER APOLOGIZE for opening a set. You're not a bother to them. It's a compliment to open women and make them feel wanted. Apologizing up front lowers your value. Stay confident!

Hooking a set on the street, I find is much harder than in a club. They're not out to socialize.
Something I thought of yesterday about this very thing is: your main body of pickup is questions. Opinion openers that you can stack, questions about her. However, in between these questions you pepper in statements that convey personality. Statements can be teases, your opinions, short short stories, and the like. Your statements need to be strong, as these are the ones that will show her who you are and will determine who has frame control.
So question her, then add in statements. It's socially acceptable. I always found that going into something random like, "btw you have a funny accent, where are you from?" are really awkward and suddenly she will realize "oh he doesn't really want directions, he just wants to get my number and this is a pickup!". Fuck that shit. Go question, and then statement.

This is my main point. On the street how on earth can you transition without it coming across as sly e.g. He didnt really want directions. Not bashing indirect just what is the etiquette (sp?) for streetgame.

I can't open in clubs really, my voice stiffens up, state problems and i freeze up. BUT i can carry a set on extremely easy in night clubs (well not easy as in good but if i do open im happy to stand there and go on until im blown out).

BUT i cant open at night very well, so i thought i'd start at daygame then when ive got decent skills i'll be more confident for the club.

Long explaination but im hoping people see where im coming from. Too shy to do direct in the day too.
