Maybe yes, maybe not. However, most guys want to appear something they're not in order to impress the girl. They'll get tests and they will fuck up.
Other times they will appear to be something they're not in order to have fun. That's the big difference. Because having fun should always be the agenda, not fucking the girl.

The thing about PUA and whatever is related to guys that want to be something they're not, so they'll get shit tested all the time. They become over-analytical towards pick up.

I completely agree that it can be fun if you have the right mentality. If fun to you is making things up, I'm sure you'll be fine with shit tests. That isn't my point though. You said you get shit tested all of the time and you gave an example of why and it comes at the cost of what you perceive as fun. Making things up to get a reaction is fun for you.

It's not criticizing your technique. If you're getting the results that you want, than more power to you. If you don't like shit tests and you're trying to figure out how to "hack" them, then you should be rethinking your approach and not trying to compensate by setting boundaries.

Can someone be clear with what a shit test is? It's always this vague. 10 times out of 10 what I see here s when someone explains how they were shit tested, its either a rejection, a red flag or a girl teasing them.

When its this vague, I can see why newbies have problems with it. Cause they dont know how to distinguish between actual shit test, a girl teasing them, a rejection or a girl they should run from. Shit test is the new "neg"; its been butchered to the point that its misapplied thoroughly.

I keep saying that no one that brings up the subject of "shit tests" usually knows what they are. It was like pulling teeth to get the OP to give examples and even those were examples listed on a different site.

I have fun by saying whatever I want whenever I want. Sometimes I say ridiculous shit, other times I say normal things, it depends on the moment and on my state.
All in all, I say what I want, because it amuses me. If the other part, boy, girl, friend or not, likes it, I don't really care. That's the point, I don't do things to get a reaction. I do it, because I have fun with it. If girls like it cool, otherwise that's ok, I don't mind.

But I usually call them congruency tests. I agree that they exist so that girls can verify if you're what you seem to be or not. Kind of a personality test. And I do also believe that every single guy, no matter how "pseudo-alpha" he is, faces them.


And by the way, it's a bit hard to put a sentence here stating that it is a shit test, because it depends on the context. The same sentence/question can be a shit test, a tease or anything else depending on the context.

Again, if you are happy with you're technique...fine. It's the guy that's trying to find his way around shit tests that need to rethink their approach. If you are saying silly shit to amuse yourself but understand that's the reason that you're getting shit tested then great for you...don't change.

I also agree it's the guys that try to live up to alpha theories get shit tested because they put on unbelievable fronts that get put through the test. If you go back and read through the thread you'll actually notice that I'm not arguing that point. The point I'm making is that a guy that gets shit tested is the guy that puts on a false front. If he's not putting on a false front and he gets shit tested, he won't notice it.

You haven't said anything new to this thread with the exception that you do things that cause you to get shit tested and that doesn't bother you. Otherwise, you're just repeating the points that have already been made over and over again.

I'll say this again. Shit tests are easy to identify. It's guys making excuses for their poor game that make the subject seem confusing. Bottom line...if you say something that sounds like bullshit, that's when you'll get shit tested.

That's the thing...if it's gonna be taught or "hacking" guides are to be given, the context should be the most important thing given. I'm left scratching my head whenever someone mentions "I passed all her shit tests" because I'm like what? Was she insulting you repeatedly? Was she asking you for stuff?

Its a diservice to new guys because they just can read women will test you because of xyz, and have no idea what to even look for. Like OP's example...if it had been oh this chick asked me for a drink, I held my boundary and she walked away and came back all over me...that would prove something. Heck, even if it had been she had come up to him on the 5th time. But you cant say something is this great attraction building device, yet you do it 5 times, and the only headway you make with the girl is when you give in to what she requested. I get it. She tested him to find out if he'd buy a drink for her. She was testing his congruence as an "alpha." He passed. He didn't buy the drink. He was congruent. But nothing.

Like lets say "I have a bf" is a shit test. Well, if its about boundaries and having an abundance mindset, the response would be "ok, have a nice night" as you go off to find another woman, confident you can. But its not the response given for hacking shit tests; instead its continue with her. Would this show a girl you have options? No. Would this show her you have boundaries? No. Does it make you stand out as an attractive man? No...because MANY guys hear "I have a bf" and continue. And if you do continue with the girl and get her, thats persistence then and turning it around.

If a girl is being bitchy to you as a shit test, then wouldnt the real way to show boundaries be to leave? How does staying or ignoring, show that you have options? Many guys will still hit on a bitchy girl. How does doing the same thing they do, differentiate you from them?

Thats not to you paxis just thoughts in general. I just wish I could pinpoint what these tests look like, because every time they're explained its vague.
