thanks for all the advice guys. Im not going to say i dont have confidence issues, but I dont think that it is the sole fix for this situation. For those of you who suggested that, i get it, thanks, but i think there is a little more to the problem!

I just wanted a mechanical solution to take the attention off that. I read a couple suggestions and those were good. Its actually really funny what my buddy does, they call him out so he carried this id card which is pretty sweet actually, so i kind of think that if i bullshit and hes legit, it looks kinda silly, but degrading his profession lightly (id let him know ahead of time cuz hes a good guy and im not in this to make him feel bad) would probably be fun . And with what DUBL-eS said, i can see now how it could be pretty easy to tease the girls from that situation.

Its not all about the money too, i agree, hes 23. that means hes very young to graduate from that program so a lot of it just the wow factor that comes with doing something awesome .

In my very humble opinion, your friend sounds like a tool if he's telling chicks within 10 minutes of meeting them every time that he's a pharmacist. I have a friend in my group who always, within minutes of meeting someone, tells them about his business, his house, and how he plays football. We always make fun of him for it and I still don't think he realizes that he's being a dipshit.

This is something I can directly relate to since I am in pharmacy school so please don't feel like im wasting anybody's time. My friend had the same problem with me once. When he brings up pharmacy let him have the spotlight then shift the conversation over to the girls being the main topic. This way there's smooth transaction and nobody feels awkward, or more of unequal (money wise). For instance there are 4 of you there, 2 guys - 2 girls. Only 1/4 of you are in pharmacy school the other 3 including the girls are not, so by no means should you feel awkward.
