Greetings PUAs!

Okey there is this waitress chick HB9 who works at this coffee shop where am a regular. I used to see her at another restaurant like 2yrs ago where she worked but we never really chatted except like once. So I see her the second time I go to this coffee shop and I tell her I know u from somewhere (I exactly knew where from but didnt want her to think am obsessing w/ her or anything) and to my surprise she said smiling "Ill remind u where from" and she goes on reminding me of that restaurant she used to work at and where we once had a brief chitchat blabla..

Then the convo switches to something else i ask her what she does blabla she asks me back and when knowing am a movie director she got really impressed so. I tell her am doing a horror film which am shooting soon - she gets really excited and says horror is her favorite genre blabla (to which i say(IOI): oh u should come watch Carrie w/ me sometime its a horror film in the theaters and none of my friends wanna c it). Then i immediately change the subject on purpose back to my film then she tells me half jockingly half serious "I wanna act in it".. So anyway we talk for few more minutes and she clearly was ignoring other customers and i was constantly DHVing then i made a joke "ur not gonna get fired today are u" we laugh then we brake it off and she goes back to work.

Moments later she is sitting outside the coffee shop on the bench talking to a friend so i go outside pretending that am grabbing something from my Porsche (DHV) which i had luckily found an empty spot in front of the place to park it, she sees me then I go back in.. I dont talk to her later but when leaving I tell her next time i come am gonna show u the trailer for this upcoming horror film we just did that is coming out soon id like ur opinion on it coz we're still putting it together and showing it to genre-fans since she's a horror geek.. She smiles happily and agrees.. I leave...

Now next time i see her, how do you boys suggest I number close her to get her to join me for the movie later or just to hang out... Also any other suggestions/ things u recommend?

Guys! Show some love

Just go back to the coffee shop and order something so you have a purpose for being there, Then greet her, talk to her briefly get your coffee/whatever and act like you've got someone else to be (maybe you do have somewhere to go, I don't know you) and as you are leaving get her number on the way out. You seem to be more interested in her for reasons not only relating to your movie role, so when getting her number i don't think you should say it's for the purpose of your role in my opinion. Try and build as much comfort as you can before number closing, it would have been easier to have gotten her number the first time you encountered her at the coffee shop. From what i have read you do seem to have a pretty good idea on what you're doing. Good luck, and i'd love to hear how it turns out.

Okey! So I go back to the coffee shop today - she was there. She was really friendly and you can tell from her body language that she's so into it - like if I'd make a joke w/ another waiter [male] she'd laugh about it - join in the convo so to speak..

So we had a little random chat [just blabla] then she goes back to her work, then I see her getting ready to leave so I say to myself lucky I made it on time!

As she gets ready to leave, I say hey I wanna show you that trailer I told you about and as she gets near me on the table, I say no let's go outside so you can hear the ipad sound coz it's too noisy here. As you guys know, I was isolating her, I didnt want to embarrass her [for whatever reason] by asking her # in front of co-workers etc. and wanted to move set in a way as well..

So I show her the trailer of my upcoming movie but I can tell from her body language that she was in a hurry [kind of time-sensitive], I wanted to talk to her a bit before going for the number but I didn't have this luxury here! Anyway when the trailer is done, she says yea that's cool - I'd watch it! I said cool I'll let u know when it's out, so r u watching any horror films these days, she says no not really, so I say okey, there's one coming out this week, let's go watch it sometime, she said yea cool "we'll talk" so here I said

Cool - let's exchange numbers... [then I fixed it and said] what's ur number (in a lower voice pitch as I got nervous!] here she said "give me ur number" she types it down, then she asks "name" and I fuckin loose my words!!! I hang for a second as I was trying to make a joke that woUldn't come out, then I say [after she looks me oddly] my name.. we say bye and I leave..

You boys think I fucked up THAT bad? ? ? ? ? I know I did... I mean it sounded really weird when I hang there for half a second before giving my name...

The good thing is she saved my # on her phone w/ name, not just typed it down in her call log, which means that she intends to "keep" the # coz she wanna get in touch..

I'll keep you boys updated all the way through but in the meanwhile comments are highly appreciated!!

kind of weird that she declined you from receiving her number and took yours, but whatever it can be recovered that is if she calls or texts you. If she does make sure to set up a date as soon as possible, the longer you drag on conversations that do not lead to meeting up the worse off you are. I would recommend looking up some of the text game material with your current situation.

Girls around here are a bit weird, they do that commonly, because there's a stupid preconception that if a guy asks the girl her # and she gives it to him she's easy or kinda a slut or whatever.. weird don't ask me but that's how many of them think around here... so in return they ask you for your #, that doesn't mean they'll call/text back but if she saves ur # to her contacts means she def. will get in touch, now if she doesn't immediately, means there's a BF hangin around or whatever..
